Two years ago, I was sitting in a hospital room watching my father fight lung and brain cancer. I made a promise to him...... I would follow my dream to become a professional writer. I lost my daddy in September of 2008, but I know in my heart his spirit is with me at all times.
This past Sunday, I went back to Michigan to visit my father's grave. It was nice to go home and remember the past, but also, I realized it is not good to dwell on the past. As humans, we evolve and something awesome occurred during my visit. My best friend gave birth to her baby girl. I will never reveal her name because of privacy, but her middle name is Elizabeth. She named her after her grandmother. When I saw little Elizabeth, she brought such joy into my life!!! Someday, I would love to have my own baby. I know for a fact, I will work hard as an entrenpreneur and help millions of children during my journey as a professional writer and entrepreneur.
I want to thank you for listening to my blogs. My goal is to blog everyday until I depart for my Straight UP Elizabeth road trip out west! I leave on September 17th.
